Research, learning, and life abroad.
I’m Akua Sekyiwaa Osei-Nkwantabisa. I’m Ghanaian, a computer science PhD student at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and the creator of Sekyiwaa’s Space.
My background
I hold an M.S. in Applied Statistics and Data Science. My work combines data science, machine learning, and explainable AI, particularly for health decision support and Alzheimer’s disease research.
I’m interested in models that are carefully evaluated and explanations that help people make sense of a result.

I created Sekyiwaa’s Space to help people find opportunities and understand the steps needed to pursue them. I share study abroad guidance, student resources, career opportunities, and practical AI tutorials.
Life beyond research
